Environment Minister ordered to settle the complaints lodged thru’ 333 immediately
Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Saber Hossain Chowdhury said that the complaints received by the National Hotline number 333-4 should be resolved at the earliest. For this purpose, all necessary initiatives including system improvement, regular monitoring should be taken. After disposal of the complaint, there should be an opportunity to regularly evaluate whether the complainant is satisfied or not.
The environment minister said these things in the president's speech at the meeting to review the progress of the construction of the smart ministry in the meeting room of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change at the Secretariat on Monday, March 11.
The minister urged people to call the National Call Center 333 to report complaints related to environmental pollution and forests. He said that the Grievance Redressal System (GRS) software of the Cabinet Division will be customized and used with the activities of the Ministry. He said that within the month of March, 333-4 environment related complaint settlement process should be fully launched. The minister ordered to make the website of the ministry in a new structure for easy use of the people.
